On Thursday 29th August we celebrated the next chapter of Boux Avenue with a two-part ‘Rewriting the rules’ event at the Mandrake hotel. If you missed our live insta story on the night, continue reading for all the inside lowdown and behind the scenes access.
The event kicked off with an exclusive champagne breakfast at the Mandrake Hotel for the UK’s top fashion press. Guests were surrounded by a mix of floral arrangements complimenting exclusive pieces from the upcoming Bouxtique by Boux capsule collection. After being seated, guests were treated to a private film screening and presentation from new Brand and Product Director, Zoe Price-Smith. Post screening, Zoe led a discussion of the new brand direction of Boux Avenue, in both handwriting and design.
We continued the event into the evening with a top party for over 120 VIP’s, influencers and media. Influencers were walked through an exclusive preview of the Bouxtique by Boux capsule collection by Zoe Price Smith, who highlighted the Parisian influence, exquisite detailing and the underlying message of embodying pure feminine power behind the designs. Guests enjoyed special ‘Boux Avenue personalised’ cocktails, rosé and sweet and savoury canapés provided by the Mandrake in a bar area dedicated to the AW19 Wild Thing collection. Continuing with the theme of female empowerment, event tunes were spun by DJ and blogging duo, The Collyer Twins, who performed a special guest DJ set.
VIP guests including make-up and hair stylist Lou Teasdale and reality TV personalities Sophie Habboo and Emily Blackwell enjoyed their cocktails in a selfie and photography session at our special photo booth provided by Flashmat. Dressed in exclusive Bouxtique pieces from the collection, VIPs Molly Moorish and Maddi Waterhouse admired the series of mannequins dressed in extravagant, fresh floral headdresses, handcrafted by renowned London florists, Mary Jane Vaughan. Mannequins wore a mix of luxury lace bodysuits with stockings and socks from the new AW19 hosiery collection.
In low lit, secluded booths, guests marked the occasion with illustrations provided by fashion illustrator Sonya Parra with her watercolour speed sketch portraits.
Towards the end of the night as they said their goodbyes, and took the last of their Instagram stories posts, attendees were treated to VIP gifting. Bouxtique by Boux Avenue will be available to purchase at Bouxavenue.com and stores nationwide from 6th November 2019.
