Summer 2020 in the UK is certainly unlike any other we’ve experienced before as we’ve become accustomed to home-life more than ever; however, that doesn’t mean we can’t still enjoy it!

Summer has always been my favourite season of the year, as sunshine brings so much happiness and joy; and although most of it has been spent at home, I’ve been making the most of sunshine and warm summer evenings thanks to Boux Avenue.

All the amazing summer days we’ve had so far have provided endless opportunities to get in the garden and sunbathe like never before! What’s better than enjoying a little summer stay-cay and updating my new season swimwear with a beautiful, on-trend bikini from Boux? (Obviously, post sun cream application!) Their cute, pink Kos tie dye triangle bikini set is my personal fave.

Not only have we had glorious, sun drenched days, but this summer has also been perfect for warm, chilled summer evenings in with Netflix; made even better with the addition of Boux Avenue’s fresh nightwear pieces! As lockdown eases and with going abroad still being a little tricky, at the weekends, I’ve used this as an opportunity to explore the best that Oxfordshire has to offer. This has included a beautiful and peaceful overnight stay in the stunning Cotswolds, as well as a summer picnic at the historic Blenheim Palace. Lastly, of course there’s always time for a few summer cocktails at home or one of Oxford’s many trendy bars now that we’re able to venture out a little more!

There are so many amazing things to do in Oxford to keep you busy in this beautiful British city; some of which I would never have known about without lockdown occurring allowing me to discover the hidden beauties on my doorstep! I highly encourage you to get out and explore this gorgeous county (and country) as we ease ourselves back into life after lockdown, and slowly back to normality. (Just remember to stay safe while doing so!)
