FIVE WAYS TO TIE AND STYLE TRIANGLE BIKINIS

The triangle bikini is one of the most versatile bikini styles. With a multitude of different ways to tie the bikini top and different ways you can wear the bikini bottoms, you can create several styles out of one set, and never get bored of your bikini haul!

#1 HOW TO TIE A TRIANGLE BIKINI FOR MORE SUPPORT

Feeling comfortable poolside until sundown means getting the right support from your triangle bikini top. Typically - for bras and bikini tops alike - the support comes from the underband. As triangle bikini tops don’t exactly have an underband, just a thin tie, to get the most support from your bikini top you’ll need to tie both the neck ties and back ties tight enough. Tie them so you feel supported and secure but not so tight you're uncomfortable.

If you love triangle bikini styles but they don’t provide you with enough support, look for a style with thicker straps, rather than the typical thin ties. The stunning Hawaii triangle bikini top works perfectly for this. Ring detailing looks sharp, whilst fully adjustable wide straps let you decide your push-up power, and provide you with extra support. A turquoise blue hue has us dreaming of paradise already.

#2 THE UPSIDE DOWN BIKINI WAY

The upside-down bikini trend is a no-fuss way to create the illusion of more cleavage. Turn the bikini upside-down and tie what is usually the bottom strap around your neck. Pull the cups down using the remaining straps to cross around and tie at your back.

You can achieve the upside-down bikini look with any triangle tie bikini, we particularly love the Laguna bikini top in a fabulously feminine, yet vibrant, Summer zig-zag print.

#3 HOW TO TIE A BIKINI TOP FOR MORE CLEAVAGE

Boost your natural shape with another tie-up trick. When tying your top, cross it over itself above your bust, before fastening it behind your neck - this adds a luscious lift whilst creating a cute cross-front style.

The Nissi bandeau bikini top is perfect for achieving this cleavage-boosting style! Pair it with the matching Nissi tie-side Brazilian bikini bottoms, for a gorgeous on-trend bikini set.

If it’s possible to alter your triangle bikini into a front tie style, this will also help boost your cleavage.

#4 HOW TO TIE A TRIANGLE BIKINI TO MAKE IT STRAPLESS

Minimise tan lines and emulate laid-back chic by making your triangle bikini strapless. This can be achieved by crossing over the neck ties at the front of the bust and then fasten them just above the back band for a strapless look.

The Bondi triangle bikini top lends itself so well to this style. The retro floral print is flirtatious and fun, and its non-padded style means you can adjust the cups to exactly how you want them, whether you're wearing it strapless or not.

#5 HOW TO WEAR YOUR TRIANGLE BIKINI BOTTOMS

Cut a classic shape and wear your triangle bikini bottoms as usual briefs - simply tie loosely (but always in a double knot) at your hips, and enjoy great coverage and comfort.

If a high-leg look is for you, tie those bikini bottoms above the hip, towards the narrower part of the waist - and from there, style into a thong bikini by adjusting the ruching and pulling the back towards your waist too. We love the Dominica tie-side Brazilian bikini bottoms for their fun heart print and their versatility - decide exactly how much cheek coverage you desire, with ruching all along the waistband!
